Care Provider
Stacy Newberry APRN, CNS
As soon as Stacy Newberry completed her bachelor of science in nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, she began working at the Oklahoma Memorial Hospital as an inpatient staff nurse, managing oncology patients in 12-hour shifts. After leaving, she worked as an outpatient infusion nurse at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where she administered chemotherapy to patients.
Newberry briefly stopped working in medical centers to provide care for medical patients in their homes for Americare Home Health. She soon went back to working for a medical center, joining the team at St. John Medical Center. During her years there, she was promoted from inpatient staff nurse to charge nurse of the inpatient oncology unit. After leaving St. John, she returned to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. While there, she was promoted from a stem cell transplant care nurse, to a care manager and, finally, to an advanced practice provider once she completed her master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama.
